JAMES PHILIP FARLEY, age 46 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Born on December 19, 1966 in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of Dorothy O. (Kennedy) Farley of Whiteford, Maryland and the late Jerry Newton Farley.

James was a talented carpenter with an engineering background. He enjoyed being outdoors and working with his hands. Spending time with his friends and family brought him great joy. James was an avid Ravens and Nascar fanatic. His favorite driver was Mark Martin.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by:

A daughter, Sarah Nicole Farley of Jarrettsville, Maryland

A son, James Neville Farley of South Carolina

A brother, Glenn Farley of Whiteford, Maryland

A sister, Carolyn Dick of Cross Roads, Pennsylvania

His beloved fiancée, Stephanie Reedy and stepchildren: Jaime and Jess Reedy, all of Delta.

A grandson, Elijah Greenwood

Many loving nieces, nephews, and beloved dogs - Gator and Dozer.

He was preceded in death by a sister, June Elizabeth Findley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, and Pennsylvania.
