Janalee Ellen Hammons, age 82, of Street, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025. Born in Renick, WV, on February 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Sadie (Cutlip) Bostic.

Janalee was a proud graduate of Renick High School. After moving to Harford County, MD, she began a longtime career as an inventory inspector with McCarquodale Color Card Company in Whiteford, where she made many cherished friendships over the years before retiring.

Janalee's life was guided by a steadfast faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A self-taught pianist, she joyfully shared her talent by playing for her church. She found great happiness in tending to her garden and flowers and treasured every moment spent in fellowship with friends. Above all, Janalee's greatest joy came from time spent with her family—especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who filled her heart with pride and love.

She is survived by her children, Carl Hammons Jr., Daniel Hammons, Kathy Janette Hammons, and Timothy Joe Hammons and his wife, Michelle; her grandchildren, Darren Womack, Buddy Womack, Sadie Hammons, Tim Hammons, and Colby Hammons; and her great-grandchildren, Mason Thomas Green and Joey Brocato. Janalee is also survived by her siblings, Kenny Bostic and Elizabeth "Boo" Bowden. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Wilford Bostic, Delbert Bostic, and Helen Sizemore.

A graveside service to celebrate Janalee's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church Cemetery, St. Paul's Church and Telegraph Roads, Pylesville, MD.
