Jane Marlyn Hale, 81, of Street Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family in the comfort of her home.

Born on May 25, 1944, Jane was the beloved daughter of the late Wilton Walter and Mildred Walter (née Hughes), both of whom preceded her in death. She was the devoted wife of the late Harold J. Hale.

Jane was a loving and proud mother to Freeda Bailey (Ted), Kenneth Wilson, Rhonda Sexton (Fred), Lorrie Gizara (Edward), and Jacqueline Busha' (Wade), and was preceded in death by her son, Robert Wilson. She was survived by her brother James "Roy" Walter. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and two sisters.

A proud grandmother of thirteen and great-grandmother of twenty-two, Jane's legacy lives on through generations who were blessed by her love, strength, and spirited personality.

Jane was known for her boundless energy and spunky nature. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee, spending many years with Maryland Lava Company in Street, MD and Old Line Plastics in Forest Hill, MD. Her strong work ethic and determination were evident in all she did.

She was an active member of VFW Post #10146 and American Legion Post #182, where she enjoyed camaraderie, fellowship, and service to others.

In addition to her immediate family, Jane is also survived by a loving host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery, located at 2350 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21014.

Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania 17314, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jane's life was one filled with love, hard work, generosity, laughter, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
