JANE SEYMOUR HOWELL, age 74 years, of Street, Maryland died on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 10:20 AM at Mariner Health of Forest Hill in Bel Air, Maryland. She had been the wife of Andrew Alford Howell, and recently they celebrated their fifty-fifth anniversary.

Mrs. Howell was born on December 22, 1930 in New York City, New York; a daughter of the late Cecil and Dorothy (Allen) Seymour. She had worked as an inventory technician in telephone communications for twenty-eight years, retiring from Verizon in 1993. She moved from Darlington to the Street area in 1990. She had been a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Street, Maryland serving as Registar, with the Altar Guild, and on the Advisory Board. She was a member of the Pioneers (a retirement group for telephone workers), Harford County Knitting Guild, and the Highland Homemakers. She enjoyed traveling all over the world.

Twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren

A son, David Howell, preceded her in death.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 2 PM at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 4603 Rocks Road, Street, MD
