JANET E. SNYDER, age 83 years of Red Lion, PA died at 12:26 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014. She was the wife of Jack L. Snyder. They observed their 30th. anniversary on December 31, 2013.

Mrs. Snyder was born on March 29, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Peter Dolan and L. Corinne (Jones) Evans. She worked as a machine operator at the former USG in Red Lion, retiring in 1993. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Winterstown United Methodist Church in Felton, PA. Her other memberships included the Ladies Auxiliary of Red Lion Post #1446, V.F.W.

Three grandchildren-Jana Lowe, Amy Wedekind and Christopher Fantom

Four great grandchildren-Brittany Fantom, Gregory Fantom, Katy Lowe and Sam Lowe

One great great grandson,Mason Gray

She was preceded in death by her son, James D. Steele, her grandson Gregory K. Fantom and her brother, Joseph Dolan Evans.

Graveside funeral services and inurnment will be held on Monday, April 28 at 11 a.m. at Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta.

Reverend Guy W. Dunham of the Chanceford Presbyterian Church will officiate.
