Janet Lee Scarborough, age 52 years of Street, MD died on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was the wife of James A. Scarborough. They observed their 2nd. wedding anniversary on September 20, 2010.

She was born on May 27, 1959 in Havre de Grace, MD, a daughter of the late Ralph W., Jr. and Mildred Elizabeth (Craig) Roberson. A 1977 graduate of Edgewood High School, Janet worked in manufacturing at various facilities including Martin Marietta and Chrysler Corp. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Darlington-Dublin V.F.W. Post 10146, Street, MD. She especially enjoyed cooking and flower gardening.

Step-daughter: Crystal Scarborough of Bel Air, MD

Three sisters: Carol Ann Gregory of Andrews, NC

Kathleen Anne Roberson of Andrews, NC

Norma Jean Cooper of Abingdon, MD

One brother: Ralph William Roberson, III of Abingdon, MD

Niece: Courtney Michelle Roberson

Nephew: James Ralph Roberson

She is also survived by four step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James H. Roberson who died on January 26, 2006 and her nephew, Michael Alexander Roberson.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Pastor Rodney Stamper of the Bethany Baptist Church, Airville, PA will officiate.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.

The viewing hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are: Clifford Gary Harris, Jr., James Ralph Roberson, Brian Harris, Curtis Earl Nichols, Robert Ralph Nichols and Mark David Zeisberg.
