JANET L. STONE, age 68 years of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Edgewood, Maryland, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Charlotte Regional Medical Center, Punta Gorda, Florida. She was the companion of the late Joseph P. Riley Jr. who died on January 12, 2001.

Janet was born on September 17, 1938 in Alexandria, Virginia a daughter of the late John Alexander and Florence Irene (Robinson) Shaw. She worked for many years at the former Red Fox Restaurant in Bel Air, Maryland as a waitress until moving to Florida in 1994. Janet was employed at the Publix Supermarkets as a demonstrator.

John A. Shaw, Jr. of Chase, Maryland

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Harkins Funeral Home in Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Joseph Wilson of Fork Christian Center officiated.

A visitation was held with her family on Tuesday evening at the funeral home

Interment was in at Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, Maryland.
