JEAN MARIE (GARRETT) LENTZ, 77 years of Street, MD, died on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Hart Heritage Estates in Forest Hill, MD. She was the widow of John Allen Lentz with whom she had shared 56 years of marriage at the time of his passing in February 2014.

Born January 26, 1939 in Street, MD, Jean was a daughter of Walker Ray and Mary E. (Tomlinson) Garrett. She was a graduate of the North Harford High School class of 1956. She was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Whiteford, MD where she taught Sunday School. She worked at the Delta First National Bank and Edgewood Arsenal where she retired after 37 years of service. She enjoyed camping, traveling and sewing.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 3, at 11:00 a.m., in Harkins Funeral Home, Reverend Melissa A. McDade officiating.
