Obituary

Jeffrey Mark Beavers, 66, of Delta, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Harford County, Maryland. Born on November 4, 1959, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of the late Donald Beavers, Sr. and Elaine (Denbow) Beavers.

Jeffrey was a devoted husband, loving father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend whose hardworking nature, wonderful sense of humor, and willingness to lend a helping hand touched the lives of so many. A man of action who was rarely one to sit still, Jeffrey believed in staying busy, getting things done, and making sure those around him were always safe and taken care of. Whether it was family, friends, or neighbors, he was someone you could always count on.

Jeffrey had a passion for the outdoors, especially goose hunting, and found great enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life. He took tremendous pride in his lawn care business and was looking forward to retirement, when he could spend even more time doing something he truly loved—cutting grass. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring old vehicles and had a particular appreciation for his tools, which were never far from reach. Over the years, Jeffrey also enjoyed bowling as a member of a league and even tried his hand at a little line dancing.

Above all else, Jeffrey loved his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and the time he spent with them brought him tremendous happiness. His quick wit, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to the people he loved will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Beavers; his son, Zach Beavers and his wife, Christina; his stepsons, AJ Thackston and his wife, Jess, and Greg Thackston; and his cherished grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Layne, and Reyna.

He is also survived by his brother, Donnie Beavers and his wife, Dee; his sister, Yvonne Pierce; his extended family, Bruce, Dean and his wife, Mary, Dennis and his wife, Diane, Brian, Ruth and her husband, George, and Sue; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Donald Beavers, Sr., and his mother, Elaine (Denbow) Beavers.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
