JEFFREY D. CANTER, age 45 years, of Jarrettsville, Maryland died on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.

Born on April 25, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of Charlotte (Watkins) Canter Yost and the late Milton Joseph Canter. Mr. Canter was a lifetime resident of Harford County and graduated in 1984 from North Harford High School. He was self-employed working primarily for Bel Air Carpet as a vinyl floor mechanic. He was associated with St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish in Pylesville, Maryland. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Canter in 2005.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish, 1021 St. Mary's Road, Pylesville, with interment in the adjoining church cemetery.

Reverend A. Henry Kunkel, III will be the celebrant.

Friends may call one hour prior to the mass at the church.
