JIMMY ALVIN COMBS, 68 of Darlington, MD, died on Monday, January 14, 2019 in his home. Married on December 30, 1976, he had shared 42 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Kathy (Jackson) Combs.

Born on August 4, 1950 in Havre de Grace, MD, Jimmy was a son of the late Roy and Hattie (Rudy) Combs and a 1968 graduate of North Harford High School in Pylesville, MD. He had served in the U.S. Army followed by working for 30 years in Newark, DE for Chrysler, retiring in 2006. Jimmy had an admiration for cars, tinkering on engines, attending car shows and going to watch drag racing. He also enjoyed going to flea markets whether buying or selling. A man of few words, he will be greatly missed. His dog, Roscoe was his faithful companion.
