Jonathan B. Heaps, age 50, of Street, MD, died on Friday, September 3rd, 2010. He was the husband of Linda (Lynch) Heaps. They observed their 28th. wedding anniversary on April 18, 2010.
Born in Princeton, NJ on September 14, 1959, he was the son of Mary Harry (Davis) Heaps of Street, MD and the late Reverend Henry Wallace Heaps. Jonathan spent his life as a dedicated servant to God. He was a loving father, a devoted husband, and an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, MD. In his free time he coached girls rec basketball for North Harford, directed the children's church choir, and brought joy to many by using the gift of his voice. His sense of humor and the strength of his convictions were a constant source of laughter and comfort to those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Wallace Heaps, Jr. who died on July 11, 2007.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 224 N. Main Street, Bel Air, MD.
His pastor, Reverend Richard Link and Associate Pastor Reverend Christopher Davis will officiate.
Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Street, MD
Visitations will be held at the church on Wednesday, September 8 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
