JOSEPH W. ELLER, age 71 years, of Darlington, Maryland died on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the husband of Lois J. (Beavers) Eller with whom he had shared forty-three years of marriage.

Born on August 26, 1938 in Clifton, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Wiley and Ruth (Sapp) Eller. Mr. Eller was a United States Navy Veteran and had worked for twenty-five years at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a fork lift operator. He was a very active member at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church.

Two daughters-

Dawn Strahan of Havre de Grace, Maryland

Donna Politowicz of Great Meadows, New Jersey

Two brothers-

Jack Eller and Johnnie Eller, both of Darlington, Maryland

Five grandchildren-

Ashley Strahan, Jacob Strahan, Sara Strahan, Benjamin Politowicz and Nathan Politowicz

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, 3414 Cedar Church Road, Darlington, Maryland with Pastor Christopher Karschner officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM at the church.

Interment with military honors will be at Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, Maryland.
