Life story prepared by loving family: Joseph David Griswold, 39, of Baldwin, MD.

Our hearts are broken; our loved one has left this earth far too soon. He is grieved and survived by his parents, Laura Sipe and David Griswold and his stepparents; John Sipe and Mary Jo Griswold. His siblings: Donald Carter and his wife, Patrice (Pixie), Chris Griswold and his wife, Tracey, Eileen Griswold, Patricia Griswold Thorn, Shelley Carter Leicht and her husband, Scott and Denver Gerhart and his wife, Kristen. He was loved as an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, a step brother, foster brother, neighbor and friend to many others.

Joe lived in Harford County his entire life, in Baldwin and Forest Hill. Joe graduated from Fallston High School. He worked in the Home Improvement/ Remodeling Industry and had many talents in carpentry, wood working and heavy equipment operation. Joe's love for dogs was large and he volunteered his time to foster dogs. He enjoyed motor cycles, fishing, video games, and being with friends.

We will celebrate his life on April 13 with a memorial service at 3:00 pm at Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church 2717 Greene Road, Baldwin, MD. Pastor Brock Mawdesley, of Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church will officiate the memorial service.

Donations may be made in his memory to The Hero Rescue in Jarrettsville, Maryland or any charity of your choice.
