JOSEPH LAWRENCE (Larry) MURPHY, SR, 58, of Street, MD died suddenly on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital. Born February 18, 1958, he was a son of Robert and Roberta (Heimz) Murphy, Sr. He was the loving husband of Theresa Lynn (Riffey) Murphy.

Larry enjoyed his work and was a faithful employee at Cleary's Transportation Company for 35 years as a tow truck operator and mechanic. Spending time on the beach in Ocean City, MD was his favorite get-away. Larry loved his family and was actively engaged in their lives. His friendship and love will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 from 4 – 8 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St. Delta, PA. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 17 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home where the Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Jim Wright. Interment will immediately follow at Dublin Southern Cemetery.
