JOYCE A. THOMAS, age 71 years, of Airville, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Joseph W. Thomas, Sr. who died on August 19, 2003.

Born on March 22, 1938 in Renick Valley, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the William Emory and Ada Pauline (Doss) Jackson. She was formerly employed at the Bata Shoe Factory for 13 years. Joyce loved bluegrass music.

Funeral service will be on Monday, Nov. 30 at 11 :00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, Nov. 29 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania
