Judy R. Snyder, age 68 years of Airville, PA died at her home on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. She was the wife of Joseph W. Snyder. They recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.

Mrs Snyder was born on Nov. 22, 1939 in Spring Grove, PA a daughter of the late George & Eva (Glatfelter) Rosenzweig. Judy was a member of Chanceford Presbyterian Church. She was a life member of the York County Fiddlers Assoc. Ladies Auxiallary and a life member of the York County Fire Police Assoc. She was also a member of the Seven Mountains Bluegrass Assoc., Keystone State Fire Chiefs Assoc Auxiallary and a honorary member of the Pennsylvania Fire Police Assoc. Judy loved to listen to bluegrass music.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 1 son- Joseph A. & daughter in law Deborah Snyder of Delta, PA

2 granddaughters- April and Ronald Herbst Sr. of Seven Valleys, PA

Amanda and Larry Bowers of Delta, PA

3 great grandchildren- Sierra & Abigale Bowers of Delta, PA and Ronnie Herbst Jr. of Seven Valleys, PA

2 brothers- Kenneth Rosenzweig of Ocala, Florida and Leroy Rosenzweig of York, PA

2 sisters- Arlene Cavanaugh of Florida and Idella Strine of York, PA

Funeral service will be on Friday, March 21 at 12 PM at Chanceford Presbyterian Church, Route 425 and Kennedy Rd., Airville, PA with her pastor Rev. Harry R. Robinson & Rev. Donald Seiple officiating. Friends may call at the church from 11-12 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
