JULIA MARIE WALLACE, age 92 years, of Darlington, MD died on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:30 a.m. at the Senator Bob Hooper Hospice House in Forest Hill, MD. She was the wife of Paul K. Wallace who died on November 10, 1968.
Born on July 26, 1919 in Wallace, VA, she was a daughter of the late John Moore and Hattie May (Garrett) LeSueur. Mrs. Wallace was a graduate of Wallace High School in Wallace, VA. She had worked as a picture framer in the Art Gallery of the former Poland's 5 & 10 Store in Bel Air, MD and as a seamstress for 17 years at the former Bata Shoe Company in Belcamp, MD. She enjoyed working at her home, "Wallace Farm" until her move to Darlington in September 2008.
As a homemaker, she baked wedding cakes, created arts and crafts that she sold at local festivals and tended a ½ acre flower garden. Mrs. Wallace considered her friends to be part of her family.

John D. Wallace and his wife, Louise
James R. Wallace and his wife, Brenda of Port Deposit, MD
Two grandchildren-
Angela Marie Heath and her husband, Butch of Rising Sun, MD
Christopher P. Wallace of Darlington, MD
Two great grandchildren, Morgan J. and Emily G. Health, both of Rising Sun, MD.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bob LeSueur.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with Reverend Dr. John E. McKnight of the Evangelical Methodist Church officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
