K. Eugene Lloyd, age 78 years, of Fawn Grove, PA died at his home on Friday, April 8, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann (Harvey) Lloyd who died in 2007.

Gene was born on October 16, 1932 in Gatchelville, PA a son of the late Joseph Kermit and Evelyn (Bartenslager) Lloyd. After working at McPherson's Farm where he began his driving career, he continued his career with Dupont as a tractor-trailer driver for 30 years. After he retired from Dupont, he worked with Dale Miller & Son Inc of Fawn Grove.

He is survived by a son- Robert E. Lloyd and his wife Diane of Fawn Grove, PA and a daughter Diane L. Wales and her husband Johnny of Fawn Grove, PA.

Grandchildren- Jason Lloyd and wife Jessica of Harrisburg, PA - Kristy Kulp and husband Robert of Gouverneur, NY - Amy Martzall and husband Ryan of Reinholdt, PA - Whitney Updike and husband Rich of Akron, PA and Jamie Wales of Fawn Grove, PA

Great-grandchildren- Tyler & Reily B. Lloyd of Harrisburg, PA - Emalyn & RJ Kulp of Gouverneur, NY, Abigail D. & Kaitlyn S. Martzall of Reinholdt, PA

His companion Ruth Colvin of Dallastown, PA

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 4:00 PM at Fawn Grove VFW Post # 7133 , 110 North Market St., Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania with Reverend James Shuler, of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, Airville, Pennsylvania officiating.
