Karl D. Kirk Jr., of Whiteford, MD age 64 years died on Sept 19, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He was the husband of Deborah F. (Barger) Kirk.

Mr. Kirk was born on July 4, 1945 at Pineville, KY a son of Karl D. Kirk Sr. of Ft. Worth , TX and the late Marjorie (Churchill) Kirk. He was employed with the Baltimore City Schools as a project electrical engineer. Karl served in the US Marines during Vietnam and was a member of Slate Ridge American Legion Post #182, Whiteford, MD.

In addition to his wife and father he is survived by 5 children:

Kim Shell of Midlothian, VA - David Frost of Essex, MD - Nicole Koerner of Glen Rock, PA - Summer Carter and Hunter Carter of Whiteford, MD.

3 grandchildren- Lindsey Shell, Amber Frost and Nathan Koerner.

1 brother- John Kirk of Ft. Worth, TX

A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, Sept 24 at 7:30 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00- 7:30 PM with Rev. Bernard T. Billings Sr. officiating.
