Katherine L. Christman, age 54 years of Stewartstown, PA died at her home at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, December 26, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Bruce D. Christman. They observed their 32nd. wedding anniversary on July 17, 2008.

Kathy was born on August 15, 1954 in White Plains, NY a daughter of Elizabeth (Albach) Weamer of Elizabethtown, PA and the late Andrew Weamer. She was a 1972 graduate of Linden Hall School for Girls in Lititz, PA and received a B.A. in History Education from Ursinus College in 1976. Kathy was employed as the customer service and international sales manager for Danskin, Inc. in York where she had been employed for the past 25 years. In addition to her family, her interests included reading, specifically historical novels and travel, primarily to the British Isles. She and Bruce attended St. Benedict's Episcopal Church in New Freedom, PA.

Elsa Bennett and her husband Greg of Chesterfield, VA

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Benedict's Episcopal Church, now worshipping at the Historic St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church building, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA 17349. www.stbenedictschurch.com
