KATHRYN O. FRENCH, age 90 years, of Brogue, Pennsylvania died on Monday June 8, 2009 in her home. She was the wife of the late Thurman G. French.

Born in Grassy Creek, North Carolina on New Year's Day in 1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida (Hudler) Mayberry. She retired in the late 1970's with 20 years of service from the former Bel Air Manufacturing Company where she had worked as a seamstress. She had also worked at various locations and was known as a hard working woman. She was a member of the Woodbine Believers Assembly in Airville, Pennsylvania. She loved her Lord and her family.

Kathryn Hart of Baltimore, Maryland

A granddaughter, Ella B. Paules, whom she raised following the death of her daughter, Ella B. Fernsler on June 19, 2004.

Twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11th from 6 to 8 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania where the funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 11 AM.

Reverend James A. Baldwin and Pastor Michael Compher of her home church will officiate.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
