Kathy J. (Maglaughlin) Hoerr of Airville, Pennsylvania passed away at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center early on June 23, 2011 due to complications with Multiple Myeloma. She was the wife of Charles A. Hoerr.

Born on August 18, 1956 in York, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Delores S. DeVoe and the late Gerald E. DeVoe; and the sister of Robin D. Lochary and Gerald A. DeVoe.

In addition to her husband, mother and siblings, she is survived by two daughters; Eryn G. Maglaughlin, Keely S. Maglaughlin and their loving father Randall A. Maglaughlin, Jr.

Four step children; Chuck Hoerr, his loving wife Lisa, Nicole Bailey, Rachel Hoerr and Melissa Hoerr.

Three grandsons; Owen Bailey, Bailey Hoerr and Brayden Hoerr.

She had two nephews; Justin and Trevor, a niece; Taylor and a great nephew; Isaac.

Kate mostly enjoyed playing with her grandsons and spending time in Ocean City, Maryland. She also took great pride in her beautiful flower beds and bountiful vegetable garden.

A memorial service will be held at Baptist View Church, 2718 Sharon Rd. Forest Hill, Maryland on Friday July 1, 2011 at 2 p.m.

In Kathy's honor, a reception will be held immediately following the service in the church social hall.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Keely Maglaughlin.
