KENNETH RICHARD FORD, age 72 years of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in New Park, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Barbara (Powell) Ford who died in 1994.

Mr. Ford was born on April 5, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland; he was a son of the late Raymond and Justine (McCauley) Ford. Moving from Baltimore, Maryland fifty-seven years ago, he was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish in Pylesville, Maryland. Retiring in 1997, he worked in security for Wackenhut Corporation for fourteen years at the Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Plant in Delta. He enjoyed golfing and trap shooting.

Three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews

A brother, Jerome Ford of Baltimore, Maryland

He was preceded in death by siblings, Wesley Ford, Herbert Ford and Norma Anderson.

Services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2008 at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00AM with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.

Reverend Douglas Winward of Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania will officiate.

Interment will be in Weslyan Chapel Cemetery, Aberdeen, Maryland.

Pallbearers will be Justin Blevins, Matthew Blevins, Kenneth R. Ford, Jr.; Anthony Ford, Michael Ford and Timothy Ford.
