KENNETH HUGHES MITCHELL, 82 of Whiteford, MD, died in his home on Monday, July 3rd, 2023 just before his 83rd birthday of July 7th with his devoted wife at his side. Married on February 8, 1964, he had shared 59 years of marriage with Geneva (Johnson) Mitchell.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was one of seven children born to the late Arthur Nelson Mitchell and Carrie Bell (Holmes) Mitchell and had worked in grounds maintenance with Harford Community College for over 13 years. Kenny enjoyed watching television, yard work and listening to music, especially country and bluegrass songs. His family remarked that he will be missed each day and every day.

He was preceded in death by all of his siblings; Gale, Harvey, William, Loretta, Hazel and Susan.
