L. EARL GROSS, age 79 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2010 in his home in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Moser) Gross, and they shared 61 years of marriage.

Born in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania on August 22, 1931, he was a son of the late James W. and Beulah Mae (Smith) Gross. Mr. Gross was a lifetime resident of Fawn Grove and a lifelong dairy farmer.

Russell Gross and his wife, Sheree

Six grandchildren-

Edward Gross, Crystal Corsello, Adam Gross, Jeanine Tarbert, Jennifer Strobeck and Kimberly Gross.

Six great grandchildren-

Austin Gross, Chad Corsello, Autumn Corsello, Logan Tarbert, Noah Tarbert and Emma Strobeck

James Torbert of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witness will officiate the graveside service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 786 Mt. Olivet Church Road, Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010.

Friends are welcome to attend the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Hospice of York, 540 S. George Street, York, PA 17403.

His sons and grandsons will service as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Dean Moser.
