LENORA ANN (FUE) KOHLBUS-

On March 16, 2013, Lenora went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a long and well fought battle with cancer. She passed away in her home of 63 years in Street, MD surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late John William Kohlbus with whom she had shared 51 years of marriage at the time of his death.

Born in Emmorton, MD on November 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Daniel W. Fue, Sr. and Ida Mae (King) Fue. Lenora's only brother, D. Webster Fue, Jr. preceded her in death.

Lenora was a 1949 graduate of the former Highland High School in Street, MD and accepted her first job at the former Fawn Grove Manufacturing Company. Retiring in 1991, she had worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 28 years at the Street, MD Post Office. Lenora was a 50+ year member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church where she was very active and loved her church family.

Additional memberships included Penn Mary Chapter #72 Order of Eastern Star and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Lenora enjoyed family research and genealogy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 1510 Deep Run Road, Whiteford, MD 21160.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, the 21st at 11 a.m. at the church with her pastor, Reverend Cindy M. Caldwell officiating.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
