LEONA T. VICKERS, age 77 years, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in her home in Street, Maryland. She was the wife of Robert G. Vickers who died on August 3, 1995.
Born on April 10, 1933 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Michael Philip and Cordelia (Workman) Rineholt. In addition to being a homemaker, she had worked for Glen Eagle Sewing Factory in Bel Air, Maryland. She was a member of Franklin Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington, Maryland and loved to bake for family and friends.
She is survived by:

Dawn Grace of Conowingo, Maryland
Chester Vickers of Brogue, Pennsylvania
Michael J. Vickers of Jacksonville, Florida
Matthew W. Vickers of Street, Maryland
Eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by sons, Terry Allen Vickers, Thomas Gerald Vickers and a daughter, Lana Jo Vickers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Her minister, Pastor Rick Wilson will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Pylesville, Maryland
Pallbearers will be Joseph Grace, Kevin Freyer, Shawn Rineholt, Robert Chester Vickers, Jr.; Thomas Vickers and Donald Vickers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society - Harford Unit, PO Box 43025, Baltimore, MD 21236-0225.
