LEWIS CHARLES BOONE, 74, of Pylesville, MD died on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Hart Heritage Estate, Street, MD. Born on October 30, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late William Wallace and Mary Ellen (Johnson) Boone. Lewis was a loving and devoted husband to Audrey C. (Szlachetka) Boone for over 54 years.

Lewis attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bel Air Lodge for many years. For over 18 years, he worked as a HVAC mechanic at APG before retiring in 2009. Selfless and humble, Lewis was a quiet man who put his family and everyone else first.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Boone and his sister, Betty Keller.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 22 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 in St. Mary Catholic Parish, 1021 St. Mary's Rd, Pylesville, MD. Interment will be held in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral staff will be assisting with parking and handicap needs during the services.
