Linda Pauline Beavers, 76, of Whiteford, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, in Bel Air, MD. Linda was born in Dallastown, PA to her late parents, Russell G. and Pauline E. (Mays) Gallatin. She was married to her late husband, Glen E. Beavers, Sr., until his death on December 13, 2012.
Linda was a devoted spouse to her late husband. She dearly loved her five boys, grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished any time she was able to spend with them. She was an honest, strong and compassionate woman. She was also a devoted Christian and loved to worship. She attended church at Apostolic Life Center, in Essex, MD. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and playing bingo. Her dogs, Ruger and Trooper were a big part of her life.
Linda is survived by her children; Paul E. Beavers and his wife Okja Kim, of Greencastle, PA, Nathan S. Beavers and his fiancée Chrystyna Sauitz, of Bel Air, MD and Adam S. Beavers and his fiancée Melissa Nizer, of Whiteford, MD. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Aaron Beavers and his wife Kelsey, of Fawn Grove, PA, Mariah Manney and her husband Austin, of Goldsboro, NC, Matthew Beavers, USAF, and his wife Victoria, of Japan, Jacob Beavers, Gene Richardson and his wife Morgan, of TN, Daniel Richardson, of WY, and by her great grandchildren; Hayden Beavers, Iyla Manney, John Richardson, Carson Richardson and Owen Richardson. One sister, Elaine Ann Shaffer, of The Villages, FL, also survives.
In addition to her late parents and husband, Linda was predeceased by her sons, Glen E. Beavers, Jr., Timothy L. Beavers, her grandson Paul Beavers and by her siblings, Gene Gallatin and Ruth Hake.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, 962 Flintville Road, Delta, PA. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Michael Stiffler of Daybreak Christian Assembly officiating. Interment will occur immediately following the funeral in the adjoining church cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., of Delta, PA.
