Linda Jean Wright, 78, of Delta, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 31, 2026, at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on October 30, 1947, Linda was the daughter of the late James Earl Blevins and Georgia Helen Harris Blevins. Throughout her life, Linda was known for her kind heart, unwavering love for her family, and her appreciation for the simple joys of life.

On May 5, 2001, she married the love of her life, Richard “Rick” Wright. Together they shared many cherished years filled with love, laughter, and devotion to one another.

Family was the center of Linda's world. She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Hanson; her brothers, Jerry Blevins and Ralph Blevins; and her great-granddaughter, Hazlee Bellinger.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard “Rick” Wright; her children, Mark Wright, Nathan Wright. Her brothers, Steve Blevins and his wife Nancy, and Dale Blevins and his wife Darlene; her sister, Karen Durham and her husband Ron; her grandchildren, KayLei Wright, Aalyssa Wright, Lillyin Wright, and Ashton Wright; and her great-grandchildren, Zaiden Barnhouse and Charleigh Bellinger. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Linda found happiness in the beauty of the outdoors. Whether tending to flowers, spending time outside enjoying nature, or creating memories with her family, she embraced life with gratitude and joy. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought immeasurable happiness to her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Nebo Church of Delta. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sherwood McGrath officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Mt. Nebo Church of Delta Cemetery.
