Lori Ann Aldrich, 61, of Whiteford, MD, died at home on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Lori was born in York, PA, to her late parents, Leon T. and Hilda L. (Anderson) Smith. She was married to her late husband, Peter Allen Aldrich, until his death on February 10, 2019.

Lori was a quiet and loving woman. She found the most joy spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the beauty of nature, being in her garden and will be fondly remembered as a wonderful cook. She found comfort in her loving dogs and cats. In her spare time, Lori enjoyed playing cross word puzzles and games with her family.

Lori is survived by her children; Christopher A. Aldrich and his wife Danielle, of Delta, PA, Nicole Compher and her husband Joseph, of Airville, PA, Ashley E. Ridgley and her husband Charles, of Hanover, PA, and Emily L. Aldrich and her companion Leighton King, of Airville, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Natalie Piecewicz and her husband Sawyer, of Montross, VA, Cole Aldrich, of Delta, PA, Taylor Compher, Carson Compher and Lucas Ridgley. In addition, Lori is survived by her siblings; Brett Smith and his wife Patty, Bart Smith and his wife Debbie, Todd Smith and his wife Barbara and Christy Linkous.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, Lori was predeceased by one sister, Donna Eshelman and her husband Mark.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the late home. The family invites all who knew and loved her to a time of fellowship honoring Lori and her life. Please check the funeral home website for the time.
