LOUISE L. CROY, age 77 years, died on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in her home in Street, Maryland. She was the wife of Earl L. Croy who died on August 29, 1988.

Mrs. Croy was born in Atkins, Virginia on March 9, 1931; she was a daughter of the late David S. and Florence Gertrude (Carter) Overbay. She was a resident of Harford County for over 50 years and had worked as a silk screener for Diversified Signs formerly of Hickory.

She is survived by four children:

Sharon K. Woods of Street

Lisa G. Holbrook of Street

Earl L. Croy, Jr. of Airville, Pennsylvania

Kim D. Kelso of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania

Five grandchildren:

Edward A. Woods, Jr., Amber L. Woods, Mitchell L. Holbrook, Jason L. Kelso and Amanda B. Kelso

Mrs. Croy is also survived by three great grandchildren.

One sister: Gladys Parks of Street, Maryland

She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters and nine half-brothers and half-sisters.

Visitations will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Whiteford, Maryland.
