Louise E. Doyle passed away on February 4, 2014 at her home in Street, Maryland after suffering a stroke in October, 2013. She was 92.
Born in Monongah, West Virginia on March 4, 1921 she was a daughter of the late Lena and Frank Stein. She moved several times finally settling in Harford County where she met her devoted husband, Thomas F. Doyle who predeceased her in 1975, son, John D. Doyle who died in 2010 and grandson, Keith D. Doyle who died in 1978.
Louise was a devoted wife and homemaker caring for her family and husband. She worked at North Harford High School in the cafeteria in the early 1960's and later at the former Delta Sewing Factory in Delta, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Churchville, Maryland. Louise was a devote Christian who enjoyed spending hours each day reading her Bible.
She is survived by her son, James W. Doyle and wife, Sandra of Maple Valley, Washington, her daughter, Ruth Ann Monk and husband John of Street, Maryland, her son, Thomas M. Doyle and wife Irene of Forest Hill, Maryland, and her daughter-in-law, Mary Doyle of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Emory United Methodist Church, 911 Cherry Hill Road, Street, Maryland on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed immediately with the funeral service.
Interment will be in the adjacent church cemetery.
