LOUISE W. GREENE, age 75 years, of Whiteford, Maryland, died on Friday, May 18, 2007 at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Dean C. Greene with whom she shared forty-nine years of marriage.

Mrs. Greene was born on October 7, 1931 in Whiteford, Maryland a daughter of the late Daniel M. and Mary Agnes (Heaps) Williams. She was a lifetime resident of the Whiteford area of Harford County and a longtime member of Delta United Methodist Church in Delta, Pennsylvania. In addition to being a homemaker, devoted mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Greene also worked for the Armstrong Cork Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company in Bel Air, Maryland. She was one of the last telephone operators assisting customers before calls could be made automatically in the Street, Maryland area.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Two children, both of Delta

Dawn Scarborough and her husband, Jeffrey

Steven Greene and his wife, Anna

Four grandchildren-Jeremy and Rachel Greene; Kelsea and Patrick Scarborough all of Delta

A sister, June L. Atkin and a brother, James Zane Williams, both of Whiteford

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, at 11 AM at Delta UM Church, 213 Main St. Delta. Her minister, Pastor Judy L. Walker will officiate.

Interment will be in Jarrettsville Cemetery, Jarrettsville, Maryland.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-9 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta.
