Obituary

LOUISE SAYLOR, age 79 years, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, formerly of Whiteford, Maryland, died on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center in Hanover, Pennsylvania. She had been the wife of late Arthur Richard Neiser and the late William G. Saylor.

Born on September 25, 1931 in Chilhowie, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lee and Winnie Mae (Moser) Cook. Retiring in the year 2000, she had worked as a home health care assistant. She was a member of the Sportsmen's Farm where she enjoyed dancing and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the John S. Murphy VFW Post #7130 in Delta, Pennsylvania.

Louise enjoyed going to Ocean City, Maryland with her son, Walt and flower gardening. She had spent her last five years living in Gettysburg, having moved from Whiteford, Maryland.

She is survived by:

Larry D. Neiser of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania

Peggy C. Cotton of Taneytown, Maryland

Walter L. Neiser of Baltimore, Maryland

Ruth C. Graefe of Hanover, Pennsylvania

Patricia A. Neiser of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Arthur R. Neiser, Jr., of York, Pennsylvania

Twenty grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren

A sister, Mary Dean

Two brothers-

Frank Cook and William Cook

Her companion of 23 years, James Zane Williams of Whiteford, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Parkhurst and Geneva McKinsey.

Visitations will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, the 16th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will follow the morning visitation on Monday at 11 a.m. Chaplain John Morrill of Asera Care Hospice will officiate.

Interment will be in Slateville Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pallbearers will be Walt Neiser, Larry Neiser, Bradley Neiser, Travis Neiser, Arthur Neiser and Coby Corbin.
