Mae R. Tillett, age 88 years, of Delta, PA formerly of Philadelphia, PA died peacefully on Saturday, January 7 2012 at York Hospital, York, PA. She was the wife of the late John H. Tillett who died in 1979.

Mae was born on May 15, 1923 in the Bridesburg neighborhood of Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Miller) Rolle. She had attended the Delta Senior Center and enjoyed helping with the Mason Dixon Food Locker. Mae enjoyed watching baseball and following the Phillies. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by 2 sons-

John H. Tillett and his wife Tracy of Delta, PA

Robert G. Tillett and his wife Bonnie of Hazleton, PA

4 grandchildren- Lauren Tillett of York, PA - Kate Tillett of Baltimore, MD - Josh Tillett and Jayme Tillett both of Hazleton, PA

1 great granddaughter- Isabella of York, PA

2 sisters- Elizabeth Fleck and Margaret Stone both of Philadelphia, PA

A visitation will be on Saturday, January 14 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA with a memorial service starting at 2:30 PM
