MARGARET LOU BARLOW, 93 of Pylesville, MD, died peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born on June 7, 1931 in Princeton, WV, she was the oldest of four daughters born to the late Archie Dean Baker and Margaret Kathleen (Moxley) Baker and a graduate of the former Highland High School in Street, MD. Known as Peg, she grew up in the Putty Hill area of Baltimore County until the family moved to northern Harford County. Peg enjoyed crocheting and other types of crafts. She was the first person to crochet blankets for the Gone Too Soon Program -a compassionate ministry for infants by Harkins.

Peg married Bob Barlow on October 7, 1951, and they lived in the house they built on Scott Road for 73 years where they raised their three boys. Peg had a beautiful soprano voice and sang in many churches including North Harford Baptist Church, Delta Church of the Nazarene and Delta Chapel. She was strong in her Christian faith and read her Bible daily.

Philip S. Barlow and his wife, Stacie of Stewartstown, PA

Her daughter-in-law, Deborah Barlow, wife of her late son, Michael Robert Barlow

Six grandchildren-

Stephen Barlow, Katie Giannini, Kevin Barlow, Adam Barlow, James Barlow and Megan Barlow.

Four great grandchildren-

Abby and Luke Giannini; Maddie and Jake Barlow

Two sisters-

Geraldean Hubble of Bel Air, MD and Donna Lynn Stawicki of Sun City, AZ

In addition to her parents, husband and son, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ella Mae Baker Thomas and her great granddaughter, Ellidy Mae Barlow.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. followed with the funeral service. Pastor Carlton Ballard, her minister, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Pylesville, MD.
