MARGARET C. WISE, age 68 years, died on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in her home in Delta, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Ray A. Wise, and they shared over forty-eight years of marriage.

Mrs. Wise was born on Valentine's Day, 1940 in Whiteford, Maryland; she was a daughter of the late Ralph L. and Lucy V. (Perkins) Ritchie. She was a member of the Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir for over thirty years. She was active in working with the Boy and Girl Scouts. She had worked at the former Needle & Quill in Delta and created beautiful crafts and quilts.

Tamara S. Wise of Sumter, South Carolina

Robert A. Wise and his wife, Carol of Delta

Two grandchildren-Alexandria and Thomas Wise

Donna Finney of Bel Air, Maryland

Rita Barker of Whiteford, Maryland

Ruth R. Hartman of Loman, Minnesota

Mary Doak and Eunice Hamrick, both of Street, Maryland

She was preceded in death by twin sons: Richard A. and Ronald A. Wise and her brother, Ralph D. Ritchie.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday the 8th at 3 PM at Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1630 Chestnut Street, Whiteford, Maryland.

Inurnment will be private.
