MARIE REEVES NORRIS, age 94 years, of Darlington, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Citizens Nursing Center in Havre de Grace, Maryland where she had received exceptional care by a very special staff for the past five weeks.

Born on April 15, 1915 in Sparta, North Carolina, she was one of eleven children born to the late Jack and Laura (Rector) Reeves. Marie had worked at the former Bata Shoe Company in Belcamp, Maryland, and for the Cello Corporation in Havre de Grace, Maryland, retiring in 1962. She enjoyed sunny days and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

Three children-

Jerlene Atkins and John Wilson of Darlington

Jack Wilson of Lake Wales, Florida

Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A sister, Clydie Adams of Maysville, North Carolina

She was preceded in death by her first husband-Marvin Wilson and second husband-Reed Norris, son James Wilson and two step-sons: Edward Wilson and Junior Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania with a visitation from 10 � 11 AM.

Reverend Harold L. Hubble of Great Hope Baptist Church, Jarrettsville, Maryland will officiate.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, Maryland.
