MARK A. ATKINS, age 52 years of Airville, PA, died on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at York Hospital. Born on September 7, 1961 in York, he was a son of the late John J. and Margaret Alice (Wilson) Atkins.

A lifetime resident of York County, Mr. Atkins had worked for Girchner Shelter Systems in Dallastown, PA. He was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Airville where he served as a trustee, greeter and usher. Mark enjoyed baseball and football. A member of Trouts Unlimited, Mr. Atkins was a hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his sister, Cindy Shenberger and her husband, Jan of Brogue, PA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, 4263 Delta Road, Airville, PA followed immediately with the funeral service.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Airville.
