Obituary

MARK ALAN HENRY, age 48 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, May 21, 2009 as a result of injuries sustained at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Edgewood, Maryland. He was the husband of Trudy (Varner) Henry, and they celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on April 30th.

Born on October 2, 1960 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania; he was the son of Donald and Agnes (Whitesel) Henry of Port Royal, Pennsylvania. Mark graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He had lived in the Delta area for the past 25 years, having moved from Juanita County. He was a Mechanical Engineer working as a Test Director for the Aberdeen Test Center for the past 26 years. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Delta, enjoyed NASCAR, working on cars and loved to spend time with his family.

A brother, Michael Henry and his wife, Patty of Port Royal, Pennsylvania

A niece, a nephew and a great nephew.

Visitation was held at Harkins Funeral Home in Delta, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 24th.

Visitation and funeral services were held on Monday, May 25th at his home church, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rt. 35 South, Nook area of Mifflin, Pennsylvania.

Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery.
