Obituary written by her family - Martha Ellen Sturgis Comer, 82, was born in her family home in Street, Maryland, June 17, 1940 and went home to be with her Lord March 20, 2023.

"Marty" as most people knew her, had a love and trust for Jesus that was undeniable. And when she said she was praying for you, she meant it. We found 3 pages with over 500 names on it. Marty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister & friend. She was a lifetime member of Delta Church of the Nazarene where she held the position of secretary for many years. She also played the guitar for Chapel Services for Delta Christian Academy. Marty helped to form the "You Tell 2 Coffee House" held at the Delta Nazarene Church on Saturday nights for 20 years.

Marty had a love for gospel music, writing stories, poems and singing for Jesus. Now she is singing with the angels in Heaven. Marty had the opportunity to experience 2 missionary trips to the Philippines and Guatemala.

Marty will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

A viewing will be held on Friday March 24th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Funeral services will be held on SUNDAY, the 26th at the Delta Church of the Nazarene, 6611 Delta Road, Delta, PA 17314 beginning at 1 p.m. with her minister, Pastor Connie Heiges and Pastor John Waltermyer will co-officiate. A private interment will be scheduled for the family.

In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to her church at the above address.
