MARVIN L. HAMM, age 65 years of Hampstead, Maryland, formerly of Bel Air, Maryland died on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Maryland. He was the husband of Gloria (Hensley) Hamm, and they had shared forty years of marriage.

Mr. Hamm was born on April 4, 1943 in Grayson County, Virginia; he was a son of the late Vance Elihu and Margaret Nora (Blackburn) Hamm. Before moving to Hampstead two years ago, he had worked for nineteen years as a truck drive for Suburban Propane. He was a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Middle River, Maryland. He loved to spend time with his family.

A brother, James L. Hamm of Bel Air, Maryland

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Hamm.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Reverend Ray Powers of Belview Baptist Church and Reverend Chris Brammer of Hampstead Baptist Church will co-officiate.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pallbearers will be Edward McMillan, Jack Ball, Tom Moxley, Scott Robinson, Boyd Herron and Sam Patterson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Wyatt and Andrew Yingling.
