MARVIN MCCALLISTER LINKOUS, age 94 years of Pylesville, MD, died on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Senator Bob Hooper Hospice in Forest Hill, MD. He was the loving husband of Grace Ann (Wales) Linkous with whom he celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 7, 2014.

Born on October 26, 1919 in Pylesville, MD, he was a son of the late W. Lee and Mary (McCallister) Linkous and a lifelong resident of Pylesville. Mr. Linkous was a long time farmer and had been a member of the Harford County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed fishing, trap shooting, tilling the land and following the Baltimore Orioles Baseball Team. Mr. Linkous was a member of the Reformation Bible Church in Darlington, MD and he enjoyed times spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:

A daughter, Carolyn S. Preston and her husband, Bill of Pylesville, MD

Numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Talbott.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Fawn Grove Cemetery, Fawn Grove, PA.
