MARY LOU APPEL, age 72 years, of Whiteford, Maryland died on Sunday, November
12, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center in Forest Hill, Maryland. She was the wife of Henry M. Appel, and they shared thirty-six years of marriage.
Mrs. Appel was born on May 3, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland a daughter of the late Allen K. & Helen (Myers) Fuller. She worked as an administrative assistant for various businesses. For the past four years since suffering a stroke, she had been a resident at the rehabilitation center.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
Two sons-
Richard G. Craig, Jr. of Hampton Bay, Long Island, New York
James S. Craig of Forest Hill, Maryland
A brother-Wayne Fuller of Bethany Beach, Delaware
A sister-Nancy McDade of Perry Hall, Maryland
Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren
A step-daughter Louise A. Smeak of Owings Mills, Maryland
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles A. Craig.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.
Reverend James B. Shuler, pastor of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church in Airville, Pennsylvania will officiate.
