Mary E. Cox, age 88 years, of Bel Air, MD died at her home on Wednesday, Dec. 9. She was the wife of the late Leonard Franklin Cox who died in 1997.

Mrs. Cox was born on Jan. 2, 1921 at Whiteford, MD a daughter of the late Charles Henry and Edith L. (Norris) Bostick. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Presbyterian Church where she had served as a deacon. She was a former volunteer at Fallston Hospital and Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

She is survived by 3 children-

Dennis F. Cox and his wife Deborah of Annapolis, MD

R. Stephen Cox and his wife Diane of Bel Air, MD

Karen L. Peters and her husband Paul of Fawn Grove, PA

11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren

Funeral service was held on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Highland Presbyterian Church with her pastor Rev. John V. Carlson officiating. Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
