Mary Ellen (Webb) Zimmerman, 87, of New Park, PA passed away on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 to join her Lord and Savior, along with being rejoined with her late husband of 50 years, Edwin Zimmerman. Mary was endearingly known for her spunky and sometimes stubborn personality. She will be deeply missed by her family, as well as the Fawn Grove community where she lived her entire life.

Born on October 14, 1934, Mary was the daughter of the late Charles (Ferd) and Elsie Webb. Eddie and Mary Ellen were blessed with two children, Karen Lynne (married to the late Barry Shenk, Jr.), and Brian Zimmerman (married to Karol). She was "Mom-Mom" to 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who always brought a "light" to her eyes. Her grandchildren include: Jacob Shenk, Leah Landis (married to Zachary), Jordan Shenk (married to Sasha), Gillian, Braden and Benjamin Zimmerman. Her great-grandchildren include: Dakotah, Trevin, Cale, Carson, Adelyn, Rylan, Titus and Barry.

Mary was a retired 40-year civil servant working as a substitute mail carrier and an administrative assistant at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Since retirement, she has been a steadfast figure at Webb's Garage greeting customers and catching up on the Fawn Grove gossip. She also loved her Rutter's coffee and was a daily customer. Mary and her late husband were life-long members of Guinston Church.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Thursday, August 11th at her place of worship, Guinston Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 14130 Guinston Road, Airville, PA 17302 with a service beginning at 3 PM. For those who cannot attend the service, a visitation with the family will be held from 4 to 6 PM at the church.
