Obituary

MARY BELLE HARRISON, age 77 years, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. at her home in Street, Maryland. She was the wife of Quentin R. Harrison who died on February 17, 2003.

Mrs. Harrison was born on February 14, 1930 in Spring Creek, West Virginia a daughter of the late Ray Miller and Mimie Elizabeth (Williams) Jianniney. She and her late husband moved to Harford County in 1954 and from 1966 - 1992 she was employed at the A & P food store in Bel Air. She was involved with the Red Hat Society and the Harford County Lyme Disease Support Group where she assisted with their activities and fund raisers. In addition to her grandchildren, who were the most important people in her life, she loved professional wrestling. She was described as the glue that held her family together and would assist both her family and her neighbors and friends in any way she could. Mrs. Harrison enjoyed gardening, both vegetable and flower.

She is survived by:

One son: Gregory E. Harrison and his wife Kathryn A. of Whiteford, Maryland

One daughter: Mary E. Bowen and her husband James A. of Glen Arm, Maryland

Four grandchildren:

Jeremy Bowen and his wife Nicole of Olney, Maryland

Jamie Bowen of Parkville, Maryland

Samantha Harrison of Whiteford

Sean Harrison of Whiteford

Four sisters: Nellie Flo Shelley of Denton, Maryland

Ramona Mae Oldland of Aberdeen, Maryland

Linda J. Sapp of Elkton, Maryland

Elizabeth Ann Osborne of New Castle, Delaware

Two brothers: Robert Thomas Jianniney of Grandy, North Carolina

Michael F. Jianniney of New Castle, Delaware

She was preceded in death by her brother David Ray Jianniney and her sister, Anna Lee Wright.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1st at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Reverend John V. Carlson, pastor of the Highland Presbyterian Church will officiate.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, Maryland.
