Mary E. Krouse, age 87 years of Delta, Pennsylvania, died at Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland on Saturday, March 22, 2008. She was the wife of Robert J. Krouse who died in 1994.

Mrs. Krouse was born on June 1, 1920 at Red Lion, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Harvey Ray and Elsie Gertrude (Bair) Flaharty. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Delta, Pennsylvania. Mary worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Harford County, Maryland. She loved to crochet and was a member of the York County Fiddler's Association.

Jennifer E. Krouse of Red Lion, Pennsylvania

Jeanne M. Altland and Leslie A. King- both of Delta, Pennsylvania

Three great grandchildren-

Mackenzie Altland of Delta, Pennsylvania

Adam King Jr. and Robert King both of Delta, Pennsylvania

She was preceded in death by her son Robert L. Krouse and her brother James L. Flaharty.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 11 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Judy Walker of Delta United Methodist and Bryansville United Methodist Churches will officiate.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25 from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in McKendree United Methodist Church cemetery, Airville, Pennsylvania.
